I've noticed that some people, me included, stay on the zone for hours and hours on end, and only end up logging in once or twice per day. Others, however, get on about 50 times a day for a few seconds to check messages and such. So, my suggestion is this:

Why not have a statistic that shows the total amount of time the user has been logged into the system, and a ranking for that. This way, someone who logs in all day but never once logs out, can have just as much of a chance of being at the top of the statistic ranking as someone who logs in and out constantly. What does everyone think of this?

Interesting, but some zoners' time probably adds up to months. lol. I could name names, but no. lol. me included. I'm horrible. I have no life.

Hm. I think that'd be hard to calculate, because the website doesn't have a connstant connection going on like you do when you're, say, doing internet radio for instance. We do have it show when someone logged in and how long ago on the profiles, but that's just measuring when they signed in last, and if they've done some action with the site in a certain amount of time. Granted I haven't seen the code for the site myself, so I'm just going off how I think it works. (Not sure I'm even making any sense to anyone but me.)

well, I see it this way. And this is taking into account that I have a little bit of computer knowledge.

If the site can calculate when you log in, and when you log out, all that it needs to do is calculate that amount of time, and keep a constant number of seconds as your total login time. Every time you logged out, that time could be updated with the new login time. I don't know if this makes sense, but it shouldn't be that difficult to do.

It's a good idea, but I'm not sure the CL's will aprove it.
